What is Microblading?
Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery is a procedure categorized under permanent makeup, but unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it is less invasive and is considered semi-permanent. Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type and lifestyle routine. The procedure is done by using a hand tool with ultra-fine needles and each 'hair' is gently etched into the skin, giving an incredibly natural and realistic look. Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows and is excellent for those wanting to enhance their brows or who have little to no eyebrows. Pigments used are chosen to match the natural hair or desired brow color and skin tone will also be taken into consideration. This technique is best for normal to dry skin types.
What are Powder Ombre Brows?
Powder brows are shaded in from light to dark by a tattoo machine to implant pigment. This technique is best for all skin types and for those who want to fill in, shape, or enhance what is already there. Powder brows are for clients who want the powder makeup effect. Commonly fades after 18 to 24 months.
What are Combo brows?
Combo brows offer the best of both 'powdered' and 'hair strokes' effects combined together to achieve a beautifully natural yet defined brow. Microblading strokes are done first, then shading is added for more depth and definition. This technique is perfect for clients wanting a more defined look throughout the entire brow. This is the ultimate brow treatment.
Do you need two sessions of microblading, combo brows or powder brows?
For optimal results, any semi-permanent brow service is a two session process. After a period of 6 weeks, a second phase of your brow tattoo will be carried out in order to deepen and perfect the shape further. This touch-up session is crucial for a gorgeous, soft, and hassle-free brow. In certain cases, a third session may be desired by those who have oily skin or have no natural eyebrow hair. With most applications, the color looks dramatically lighter after the first week. Some clients prefer this, while others opt for a bolder look.
What form of payment do you accept?
Zelle, Venmo, and CASH are preferred. There will be a 4% transaction fee for any credit card transaction over $150.00.
Do I come to the brow appointment with or without makeup?
We suggest clients come to their brow appointment with their daily makeup on. That way, we can refer to the client’s liking and style. The brow area is cleaned and all brow makeup is removed before treatment begins.
Do I need to come in for a consultation or can I get eyebrows done the same day?
We understand the procedure can be daunting and want to make sure all our clients feel comfortable with their decision. All questions or concerns you might have will be addressed during your consultation. During your consultation, your specialist will work with you to discuss your goals, lifestyle, the shape of your existing brows, and the problem areas you wish to address. Bringing reference photos of your desired brow shape is highly recommended and greatly appreciated. Your specialist will advise and show examples of brow shapes that will work with each client’s face shape and brow type. If you have any questions about which procedure to choose, your specialist can direct you towards the best option for you.
Pre-Procedure Consultations are not mandatory for eyebrow tattoos. If you feel ready, you can book your procedure and your specialist will go over all the mentioned above at your appointment!
How long does it last?
Semi-permanent eyebrow pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade over time. Microblading typically lasts 1-5 years, powder brows 2-6 years depending on skin type (normal, oily, dry), age (youthful/mature). Skincare routine will also affect the lasting effect of the pigment, patients who tan, use products with AHA or Glycolic Acid will fade faster as your skin will resurface faster. Each individual's color retention within the skin will vary. To maintain the brows looking fresh, a touch-up is suggested every 12-24 months. Clients can let the treated area fade over time, but please note a slight shadow may remain.
How long is the procedure?
The entire procedure from beginning to end takes about 2-3 hours. Your brow session will consist of the consultation the day of, where we review your skin type and lifestyle. During this session, the brow artist will numb the brow area for 15-20 minutes. Followed by the shape and style of the client’s brows for client approval. We then follow with pigment color selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, we begin the procedure.
The complimentary follow-up session takes place 6-12 weeks after the initial session. This is to see how brows have healed and if any adjustments are needed. This session will take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.
How long does it take to heal?
You'll be able to rock your new brows right after the treatment! The eyebrow area may be slightly red after the procedure and the color will appear dark. This is normal for the procedure and part of the healing process. The color will fade by up to 40% as it heals. In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark and you will notice slight scabbing. Do not pick at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the treated area. The eyebrows will lighten up in color as it heals. No downtime is required after the procedure. It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. You'll notice the color is very light right after the two weeks after healing; the skin will have an opaque milky looking quality to it. This is known as milk skin and is common in tattooing. This is due to the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed. True color will reveal itself once healed.
When should I get a touch up? How much is it?
A follow up session is between 6-12 weeks of your initial appointment. After your follow up session, annual touch ups/color boost is needed to maintain color and shape. Please refer to SERVICES for touch up prices.

Risks and complications?
We take all proper precautions for a safe session by using sterilized equipment, new needles, and in a sanitized environment. We suggest a pigment patch test for individuals who have high skin sensitivities or are sensitive to:
Topical makeup products
